Buying a home—especially if it’s your first—can be a lot like losing weight in the sense that people end up doing, well, some pretty dumb stuff in the process. But while desperate dieters might waste money on “magical” weight-loss pills or silly exercise equipment (remember the shake weight?), misguided home buyers could be doing far more serious damage—like undermining their ability to purchase a house at all. In literally all of the markets that The Cascade Team services we have neighborhoods and developments intermixing with local coyote populations. I live in Sammamish, WA and often see them in the mornings when I run Soaring Eagle Park between 5:30 and 6:00 in the morning and a recent posting on Nextdoor Trossachs the neighborhood I live in reported a mother and 2 to 3 pups having a den in one of the many local greenbelts.

The same can be said for Doug Young and the Team in Arizona, Kent in Denver, James out in Spokane and so forth.

For the most part coyotes may prey on a small, unattended pet, but are generally scared of people. If you do run into members of the local coyote population here are a few tips to remember.

Welcome To The Cascade Team Seglinda (Sig) Jones!

Seglinda Jones (Sig) is a native of Southern California living 20 years in Los Angeles and then moving on to Orange County, raising her family in the City of Orange. Family being the focus and center of her life, the move of her younger daughter and son-in-law to the Pacific Northwest, followed by her older daughter and then birth of her only grandchild, brought a relocation to the beautiful Snoqualmie Valley.  North Bend has been home base for 16 years.

KIRKLAND, Washington (July 6, 2017) – For frustrated house hunters, there’s hope: the volume of new listings added to inventory during June (13,658) was the highest total for any single month since May 2008 (14,176 new listings), according to the latest statistics from Northwest Multiple Listing Service.

“This time of year we see more new listings coming on the market than pending sales, and June didn’t disappoint,” stated J. Lennox Scott, chairman and CEO of John L. Scott.
